Universal Orlando’s Travel Agents site has been updated with a new promotional banner for the expanded Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The bread and butter of the Harry Potter page is this new artwork, which combines the existing Hogsmeade land with the new Diagon Alley land currently under construction at Universal Studios. The Diagon Alley side depicts Gringotts, the dragon that will be breathing fire atop the legendary bank, and a few store fronts (including one that may be The Leaky Cauldron).

The following description of the land is also included on the aforementioned page: “Hidden behind a facade of London landmarks is the entrance to Diagon Alley™, where even more of Harry Potter’s journey will come to life at Universal Orlando® Resort. Your clients will be able to explore some of the most famous shops and establishments in the magical world and discover an innovative new ride inside the goblin-run Gringotts™ bank.”
Noteworthy in this blurb is the mention of the entrance to Diagon Alley being hidden inside the buildings. Will we be able to enter through a brick wall like real wizards and witches do? A recent piece of promotional art suggested as much.
The description goes on to preview the real Hogwarts Express train, which will take guests from Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure to Diagon Alley at Universal Studios: “With a Park-to-Park Ticket, [your clients] can ride the Hogwarts™ Express between The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™–Hogsmeade™ in Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™–Diagon Alley™ in Universal Studios Florida.”
This is the second time we’re hearing that a park-to-park ticket will be required to ride the Hogwarts Express, meaning that you will need to pay for both parks instead of just one. Presumably Universal will have special offers and vacation packages, making it easy for guests to make the decision to purchase the park-to-park ticket. Currently, the cost of a one-day, two-park ticket is $128.
The only other artwork of Diagon Alley we’ve seen is the land overview concept art, which debuted with Universal’s official announcement in May. Another piece of art surfaced late last month but is only available in low-res.
