Wilson Fisk is back in season 3 of Daredevil, and Netflix has just released a featurette teasing the infamous villain’s return.
The third season of Daredevil is going to be a huge one. With Matt Murdock stepping away from the noble path he tried to carve in the first two seasons of the show, our hero is in for a darker journey than any we’ve seen before. But a huge catalyst for this step off Matt’s search for righteousness is the return of the villain Wilson Fisk.
Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, is one of the most infamous villains in the Daredevil comics, and the Netflix has done an amazing job bringing this baddie to life through the talents of actor Vincent D’Onofrio. While season 2 had Fisk behind bars, season 3 is all about Wilson Fisk’s big departure from prison, and the all-out war he plans to rage on Matt Murdock and his vigilante alter ego.
In a brand new featurette released by Netflix, we get a bit of a closer look at season 3, and what went into bringing Wilson Fisk back into the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. And even better, we get a closer peek at that iconic white suit comic book fans know all-too-well.
The new season of Daredevil will test Matt in ways that we’ve never seen him tested before as he works to stop Wilson Fisk from taking over Hell’s Kitchen and completely destroying the name of the Daredevil. And while we’re jazzed to see Matt and Fisk go head-to-head, we’re even more excited to see this iconic villain take on the form we know and love to hate (and fear) from the comic books. Season 3 is raising the stakes, and we can’t wait to see what mayhem Wilson Fisk has in store for us.
The Kingpin returns when Daredevil season 3 premieres only on Netflix on October 19.
